Working Draft

For staying with work already underway.

Working Draft is for artists and writers inside a project – when the initial excitement has worn off, and the work has become more demanding. This is the long middle: when clarity is partial, doubt creeps in, perhaps you have too many options, and progress feels uneven. People call it the “saggy middle” for a reason.
This residency exists to help you get your project back into motion, driven by the collective energy of others doing the same. We facilitate your process and support your productivity, but there’s no critique and no pressure to explain your work unless you want to.
The focus is on consistency, rhythm, and forward movement. Just time, structure, and the motivation that comes from working alongside others who are equally immersed in their work.

Full board – facilitated sessions – self-directed work sessions – optional readings – writing exercises – optional excursions – walks – lakes
